Pricing and What Drives It
Every service on this site has a published starting range. This page explains how those numbers get built, what moves yours up or down, and how to compare our quote against anyone else honestly.

Online Website Marketing publishes a starting range for every service instead of one fixed price. Your final number depends on how many cities you target and how competitive your trade is. It also depends on the foundation work your site and profile need. Content volume and the ad spend we manage move the number too.
Service pricing
Every figure is a starting point. The plus sign is not decoration: it means the real number is at or above this, never below it.
| Service | Starting at | What drives it |
|---|---|---|
| Local SEO | $1,500+per month | The number moves with how many cities you want to compete in, how crowded your trade is, and how much cleanup your existing site and listings need. A single city dental practice sits at the low end. An HVAC company chasing fifteen cities against national franchises sits well above it. Multi location businesses are priced per location. We tell you which end you are on before you sign anything. |
| Google Business Profile Optimization | $750+per month | The number depends on whether we start with a clean profile or a suspended one, how many locations you run, and how much media production you want us to handle. A one location profile that just needs field work and weekly posts sits at the low end. Multi location businesses, suspension recovery, and monthly on-site photo or video shoots move it up. One time setup and optimization without ongoing management is priced as a project. |
| Reputation Management | $600+per month | The number moves with how many platforms you need covered, how many reviews arrive each month for us to respond to, and whether you are starting from a healthy base or repairing real damage. A single location with Google and Yelp sits at the low end. Multi location practices, regulated industries needing compliance reviewed language, and active recovery work sit higher. Recovery engagements are quoted separately since they front load the effort. |
| Pay Per Click Advertising | $1,200+per month | Management is a flat monthly fee based on account complexity, not a percentage of your ad spend. One service line in one city sits near the bottom. Multiple trades, several cities, Local Services Ads, and call tracking across many locations push it higher. Ad spend is billed by Google directly to your card and is separate from this fee. |
| Web Design and Development | $6,500+one time | A five to eight page site for one service business in one city sits near the bottom of the range. Price climbs with page count, custom photography and video, multi location structures, booking or payment integrations, and migrations off a platform that fights you. We quote a fixed number after a scoping call, not an open hourly estimate. |
| Video Marketing | $1,500+per month | The monthly number covers planning, editing, publishing, and a set volume of short form clips from footage we already have. It goes up with additional shoot days, travel outside the Inland Empire and Orange County, on camera talent, animation or motion graphics, and multi location businesses. A single production only project can be quoted as a one time fee instead. |
| Content Marketing | $1,800+per month | The number moves with volume and depth. Two well researched 1,500 word pieces a month costs far less than eight pieces plus a pillar page and a quarterly refresh program. Competitive markets like Orange County remodeling need more depth per piece than a smaller service area does. If you can give us 30 minutes a month of your own expertise on a recorded call, the writing gets better and the cost goes down. |
| Lead Generation Systems | $1,500+per month | The number depends on how much already exists and how many pieces have to be built. Connecting call tracking and a CRM you already own is a fraction of building capture, qualification, automation, and reporting from nothing. Multi location businesses and companies with several service lines need more routing logic and cost more. Software fees for tools like CallRail or your CRM are billed to you directly, usually 100 to 400 dollars a month depending on volume. |
| Social Media Marketing | $1,200+per month | The number moves with platform count, posting frequency, and whether video is involved. One platform at three posts a week with photos your crews supply sits at the low end. Two platforms with weekly short form video, daily message handling, and ad creative production costs meaningfully more. Businesses that cannot supply job photos need us on site to shoot, which adds cost. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform. |
| Technical SEO | $2,000+per month | Price moves with page count, platform, and who does the shipping. A 40 page WordPress site is near the low end. A 900 page site, a custom build, or a headless setup where every change needs developer time runs higher. One time audits are priced separately from ongoing work, and if your developer implements our tickets, the monthly cost drops. |
| Conversion Rate Optimization | $1,800+per month | The number moves with traffic volume, page count, and how much development access we have. A single template service site with one form is near the low end. Multi location sites, sites with booking systems, or programs that include ongoing A/B testing at statistical rigor cost more. Sites under about 1,000 monthly sessions usually get better value from a one time conversion audit than a monthly program. |
| Email and Marketing Automation | $900+per month | Cost depends on list size, how many automations you need, and whether your job software connects cleanly. A single follow up sequence and one monthly broadcast sits at the low end. Multi service segmentation, integration with a system like ServiceTitan, and weekly sends run higher. Platform fees are separate and scale with list size, typically 30 to 300 dollars a month for most local businesses. |
| Generative Engine Optimization | $1,500+per month | The number moves with how many service lines and cities need tracking, how much existing content has to be rewritten, and how thin your outside mention footprint is at the start. A single location business with three services and decent content sits near the low end. Multi location companies, regulated fields like medical and legal where claims need review, and businesses starting with almost no third party mentions run higher, because the corroboration work is slower and cannot be rushed. |
| Digital Marketing Strategy | $3,500+one time | The number moves with the number of service lines, locations, and existing channels we have to audit. A single location business with one service line, a website, and a Google Ads account sits near the low end. Multi location companies, businesses running four or more channels, franchises with brand rules to work inside, and anyone whose analytics has to be rebuilt before the data means anything run higher. If you want the plan executed afterward we credit a portion of the fee against the first months of the engagement. |
| Marketing Consulting | $750+per month | The number moves with call frequency, how many channels and vendors we are overseeing, and how much between call access you use. One monthly call for a single location business with two vendors sits at the low end. Multi location companies, businesses with an internal marketing team that needs weekly direction, and owners who want us in vendor meetings run two to four times that. If oversight starts turning into us doing the work, we will say so and price it as execution instead, because quietly absorbing project work into an advisory retainer serves nobody. |
Read this before comparing quotes: a cheaper monthly figure usually means fewer hours, fewer pages, or offshore execution with no local market knowledge. Ask any agency how many hours are in the retainer and what happens in month one. The answer separates the real proposals from the rest.
Bundled pricing
Bundles cost less than buying the same services separately because the work overlaps. The same audit, the same reporting, the same account management.
Local Dominance Bundle
$2,450+per month
Established single location service businesses with a crew that can take more work. That means HVAC and plumbing companies, dentists, chiropractors, auto shops, and law firms. The goal is to own the map results in your home city and the three or four towns next to it. Best fit when someone answers the phone during business hours.
Local Dominance BundleVisibility and Conversion Bundle
$2,900+per month
Businesses that already get decent map impressions and website traffic. They hear far fewer calls than that traffic should produce. Also a fit for companies with a newer site that looks good. Nobody has tested that site yet against how real visitors behave on a phone.
Visibility and Conversion BundleComplete Lead System Bundle
$3,800+per month
Owners who suspect they are losing money after the lead arrives. You miss calls at closing time. Quotes go out and never get a second touch. And you have no idea which channel produced which job. Usually companies with two to fifteen field staff and a front office that is already stretched.
Complete Lead System BundleFast Track Growth Bundle
$3,200+per month
Newer companies with no ranking history. Businesses opening in a new city. Anyone staring at a hole in next month schedule. Also a fit for seasonal trades like HVAC and pool service. Those trades need volume inside a short window and cannot wait for organic to catch up.
Fast Track Growth BundleAuthority and Content Bundle
$3,600+per month
Purchases people research for a long time before they decide. That covers remodelers, ADU builders, law firms, and financial advisors. It also covers insurance and Medicare agencies, senior care providers, and specialty medical practices. This suits owners who can sit for a monthly interview and share what they actually know.
Authority and Content BundleFull Service Partner Bundle
$5,400+per month
Multi location companies, plus single location businesses that have outgrown help bought one piece at a time. Both are typically past roughly three million in revenue. Works best when you have someone inside the business to coordinate with. You also need a real growth target for the year, not a vague wish for more leads.

How Our Pricing Works
We price by scope, not by guesswork. Before a number goes on paper, we look at your website, your Google Business Profile, your current business listings, your review history, and the cities you want to win. That audit tells us how much work sits between you and a steadier phone. Then we build a proposal with a monthly figure and, when the situation calls for it, a separate one time figure for foundation work. The tables on this page show starting ranges. A starting range is a floor. It is the least this local SEO work costs when a business is already in reasonable shape and the service area is small. Your number sits at that floor or above it. It never sits below it. We publish ranges because a single fixed price would be dishonest. A dental practice competing in one city needs a fraction of the local SEO work an HVAC company chasing twelve cities needs. Charging both the same means one of them is quietly paying for the other. You get your real number in a written proposal before you agree to anything. The proposal lists the deliverables, the timeline, the reporting schedule, the point of contact, and the commitment length. Nothing important is left verbal.
What Moves Your Number Up or Down
Five factors explain most of the gap between a low quote and a high one. Cities targeted matters most. Each city you want to rank in needs its own page, its own local proof, and its own share of review and link effort. Going from two cities to ten does not quite double the local SEO work, but it comes close. Competitiveness matters nearly as much. Ranking a bookkeeper in Chino Hills is not the same fight as ranking a personal injury firm in Los Angeles. Crowded trades have competitors sitting on hundreds of reviews and a ten year head start. Closing that gap takes more months and more hours. Your current foundation decides how much of month one goes to cleanup instead of growth. A slow site, duplicate listings, and a miscategorized profile all burn budget before any new work begins. Content volume drives cost directly, because every page, article, script, and profile post carries research and writing time. Ad spend managed affects the management fee, since larger budgets need tighter monitoring, more testing, and more frequent review. We tell you which of these is pushing your number before you see it, not after.
- Cities targeted: more cities means more pages, more local proof, more review volume
- Competitiveness: crowded trades and dense metro areas take more months and more hours
- Current foundation: cleanup in month one shifts budget away from new growth work
- Content volume: every page, article, and video carries real research and production time
- Ad spend managed: bigger budgets need tighter monitoring, more testing, more reporting
Monthly Work and One Time Work Are Different
Some marketing is a project. Some marketing is a program. Mixing the two is where confusing invoices come from, so we keep them separate. One time work has a start and a finish. A website build, a citation cleanup, a photo and video shoot, a technical audit, or a written strategy roadmap all sit here. You pay once, you receive a deliverable, and the local SEO work is complete. If you walk away later, you keep what was built. Monthly work compounds. Local SEO, reputation management, content, ad management, and lead system upkeep only pay off when they run for months in a row. Rankings move because pages age, reviews accumulate, and links build up. Ads improve because the data set grows large enough to trust. Stop the monthly work and results drift down over the following months, the same way a gym membership stops paying once you stop going. Most engagements need both. When there is a lot of foundation work, we quote it separately and start the monthly program once the base is solid. When the foundation is already decent, that work folds into the first month instead. Either way, you know which bucket every line item sits in before you sign, so you always know what you own and what you are renting.
What Is Always Included and What Is Never Extra
Every engagement includes the same core, whichever service you buy. You get a named point of contact who actually knows your account. You get a monthly report that ties activity back to calls and form fills instead of impressions. You get a monthly review call with a real agenda: what moved, what did not, and what happens next. You get access to the same dashboards we use, so you are never waiting on us to see your own data. Then there is the list of things some agencies bill for that we do not. We do not charge for the onboarding audit that produces your proposal. We do not charge for the monthly call. We do not stack a setup fee on top of a retainer for work that is already inside the retainer. We do not mark up your ad spend on a sliding scale that quietly grows as your budget grows. We do not charge you to export your own data when you leave. If something genuinely falls outside the agreed scope, you hear about it before it happens, in writing, with a price attached. Surprise line items are a trust problem, and trust is harder to rebuild than a ranking.
- A named point of contact who knows your account and answers your email
- A monthly report tied to calls and form fills, not impressions
- A monthly review call with an agenda and clear next steps
- Access to the same dashboards and raw data we work from
- No charge for the onboarding audit or the written proposal
- No charge to export your data and accounts if you leave
How Change Orders Work
Scope changes are normal. You open a second location. A national competitor moves into your city. A slow season turns busy and you want paid search running by next week. None of that is a problem. What matters is how the change gets handled. Every change goes through a written change order before any work starts. The change order states four things: what is being added or removed, what it costs, when it starts, and what it replaces if anything. You approve it in writing. Your invoice changes after that approval and not a day before. We run change orders in the other direction too. If a service is not paying for itself, we raise it on the monthly call and recommend cutting it. That conversation costs us revenue and we have it anyway, because an owner who feels squeezed leaves inside a year, and an owner who trusts us stays for years. Small adjustments inside the agreed scope do not need paperwork. Swapping one target city for another, reordering which pages get written first, or shifting ad budget between campaigns are judgment calls we make with you on the monthly call. The written change order exists for anything that changes what you pay or what you were promised.
How to Compare Agency Quotes Honestly
Two quotes carrying the same monthly figure can hide very different amounts of work. Price alone tells you almost nothing. What you need is a way to compare what actually arrives each month. Start by asking every agency to write down deliverables with quantities attached. Not content marketing, but how many pages and roughly how many words. Not link building, but how many links and from what kind of sites. Not reporting, but which numbers and how often. Vague scope is the most reliable warning sign in this industry. Then ask who performs the local SEO work. Some agencies sell you a strategist and hand execution to a rotating offshore team with no knowledge of Southern California markets. That is not automatically bad, but you should know it before you sign rather than six months in. Ask what happens in month one specifically. A real answer names the audit, the fixes, and the first deliverables with dates. A vague answer means nobody has planned your account yet. Finally, ask what you keep if you leave. Pages, profiles, ad accounts, and data should all be yours. If the agency owns your website or your Google Ads account, leaving costs you everything you already paid for.
- Ask for deliverables with quantities, not category names
- Ask who performs the local SEO work and where that team sits
- Ask exactly what happens in month one, with dates
- Ask which numbers the report shows and how often it arrives
- Ask what you keep and who owns the accounts if you leave
- Ask for the commitment length and the notice period in writing
Why the Cheapest Quote Usually Costs the Most
The lowest bid wins on the day you sign and loses over the next twelve months. Here is how that plays out. A very low retainer buys very few hours. Those hours go toward whatever looks like activity inside a report: a couple of thin blog posts, a batch of directory submissions, a ranking screenshot taken from a good angle. The local SEO work that actually moves local search is slower and harder to show off, so it gets skipped. Six months later nothing has changed. You have paid six months of fees and you are exactly where you started, except your competitors kept investing the whole time. Then you switch agencies. The new team spends its first two months removing thin pages, cleaning up bad links, and fixing listings the last provider submitted wrong. You pay for that cleanup, and you restart the clock on the slow compounding work. Add it up across a year and the cheap option often costs more in fees plus lost months than the honest quote you passed on. The lost months are the expensive part, because search visibility compounds and a year of standing still is a year your competitor spent building a lead. Buy scope that can work, or wait until you can. Both beat paying for motion that goes nowhere.
