Call (714) 823-3164 or ask a question. Clear recommendations, even if we never work together.
For when waiting six months is not an option. Paid traffic starts producing calls this month. Underneath it, profile and review work builds the free side.
What you get
- Google Ads or Local Services Ads live within the first two weeks of kickoff
- Negative keyword list built before launch, then reviewed weekly through the first month
- Every ad points at the matching service page, never the homepage
- Google Business Profile optimization so the free listing catches the searches your ads do not
- Review generation from day one, since both ad quality and Local Services Ads ranking lean on your rating
- Conversion tracking and call recording so you can hear exactly what the spend is buying
- Weekly check ins through the first six weeks, then monthly once the account settles
What it costs
This is management only. Ad budget is paid straight to Google and sits on top, commonly 2,000 to 8,000 per month for a local service business depending on the trade and how many cities you target. Sold separately these three services run close to 3,700. The management number moves with campaign count, city count, and how tight the margin is on your average job.

Who Should Not Buy This Bundle
Ads punish a slow phone. If nobody picks up inside a few rings during the hours your ads run, do not buy clicks. You are paying for a ring that goes to voicemail while the same searcher taps the next result. Sort out answering first, even if that means an answering service.
The math also gets hard when the average job is small and there is no repeat work. In competitive trades a single click can cost real money, and it takes several clicks to make one call. If your typical ticket is under about 150 dollars, put the budget into your profile and reviews instead.
One more: if your website is a single page from 2014, the ads will send good traffic to a bad landing. Either fix that page first or accept that month one buys you a lesson. We would rather build the page than watch you pay Google to prove the point.
Local Services Ads and Google Ads Side by Side
These are two different products people lump together. Most trades that qualify should run both, because they catch different searches.
| Question | Local Services Ads | Google Ads |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | A lead | A click |
| Where it sits on the page | Above everything else | Below that, above the map |
| Who can run it | Screened trades only | Almost any business |
| What setup involves | Background and license checks | Account, tracking, landing pages |
| Control over which searches | Very little | Keyword by keyword |
| What affects placement | Reviews, response, proximity | Bid, relevance, page quality |
| Bad leads | Dispute them for credit | No refunds, use negative keywords |
Screening for Local Services Ads takes time, so we start it in week one and run Google Ads while it clears.
The First Eight Weeks on Ads
Month one buys information. Month two is where the account starts paying for itself. Knowing that in advance stops a lot of panic.
Seasonal trades compress this. In a heat wave the same curve can run in half the time.
How Not to Waste Ad Money
Owners lose more money to these habits than to bad bidding. All of them are inside your control.
Do this
- Pause the campaign when the schedule fills. Ads are a tap, not a subscription.
- Answer inside three rings during ad hours. You already paid for that ring.
- Send each ad to the page for that exact service and city.
- Read the search terms report weekly for the first month, not monthly.
- Count calls over 60 seconds as the conversion, not every click.
Not this
- Do not run ads across the whole state to look bigger. Every mile past your area is waste.
- Do not bid on a broad word like plumber with no city or job attached.
- Do not judge the account in week one. The first weeks buy the negative keyword list.
- Do not let ads run overnight if nobody answers or texts back overnight.
- Do not shut everything off the month you get busy, then restart cold in the slow season.
What the Free Side Is Doing While the Ads Run
The profile and review work is not filler in this bundle. It is the exit plan. Ads stop the day you stop paying, so the point of the first six to nine months is to build enough free visibility that you can lower spend without the schedule going quiet.
The ads also feed the free side something you cannot buy any other way. Your search terms report shows the exact wording real customers type before they call, including the jobs you did not know people search for. That list decides which service pages and which cities we build next.
By around month six we compare cost per booked job from ads against calls coming from the map and the website. If the free side is carrying weight, we recommend cutting spend rather than holding it. That conversation costs us money, which is exactly why you should expect it from anyone honest.
